You know the feeling…

Money is quietly running your life

  • You can’t leave the relationship because you’re financially dependent
  • You can’t raise your rates because you’re terrified they’ll say no
  • You make good money but it never feels like enough
  • You give too much, charge too little, and wonder why you’re always exhausted
  • You avoid your bank account because of the shame
  • You work yourself to death chasing a security that never comes

Here’s what no one tells you

It’s not about budgets. It’s about the wound underneath.

The childhood messages that money equals worth. The relationship trauma where money became control. The cultural shame around wanting more. The belief that you have to earn your value.

That’s money trauma. And it’s running your life.

Keeley Taverner leading a live Key for Change workshop, presenting to a full room of attendees

The solution

Psychological liberation — not another budgeting workshop

Led by psychotherapist Keeley Taverner, who specialises in helping deeply conscientious people stop giving their power away — whether to toxic relationships, limiting beliefs, or money patterns that keep them stuck.

What this is

  • Deep psychological work on the trauma underneath your money patterns
  • 6.5 hours of transformational teaching and experiential work
  • A safe, non-judgemental space led by a qualified psychotherapist
  • Real work for real people, ready to move from awareness to action

What this isn’t

  • Financial advice or a budgeting workshop
  • Manifestation “woo-woo”
  • A get-rich-quick strategy
  • A one-day fix for lifelong patterns with no effort required

Over 6.5 hours, you’ll discover

Understand the wound — so you can finally heal it

Why you actually stay stuck

Not the surface reasons — the deep psychological mechanisms: toxic fuel, worthiness wounds, childhood programming.

How shame runs your money life

Why shame thrives in silence but loses its power in connection.

Your attachment patterns

The patterns that shape how you relate to money — and where they came from.

Your specific money story

The invisible script that’s been running your life since childhood.

The forces behind financial shame

So you stop blaming yourself for systemic problems.

Practical nervous-system tools

Regulate around money and make decisions from calm, not panic.

Your questions, answered

Before you book

Is this financial advice?

No. This is psychological work on the trauma underneath your financial patterns. Keeley is a psychotherapist, not a financial adviser — the day addresses the emotional and psychological roots of your money patterns.

Do I need to share my financial details?

Absolutely not. This is about patterns and wounds, not your actual bank balance. You’ll never be asked to disclose numbers.

I’ve never done therapy before — will I be okay?

Yes. This is a workshop format with teaching, personal reflection and optional small-group sharing. It’s not traditional therapy, and Keeley creates a safe, non-judgemental space.

What if I can’t afford £197?

Sign up early to save £100 and attend for just £97. If money is genuinely a barrier, email keeley@keyforchange.com — a limited number of sliding-scale spots are available.

Can I bring my partner or a friend?

Yes, if they’re doing their own work. Everyone attends for themselves and purchases their own ticket — this isn’t about fixing others or processing relationship dynamics together.
